USES AND BENEFITS: Hibiscus tea is most often used as a refreshing drink. It is slightly acidic due to the high content of herbal acids, which also makes it a very mild antioxidant (laxans). Because of the significant proportion of mucus, it is also used in colds and upper respiratory tract cramps. Not recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers and children under the age of 12
PREPARATION AND DOSAGE: 1 teaspoon (2.5 g) of finely chopped flower pour with 150 ml (1 cup) boiling water. Leave covered to stand for 5-10 min and then drain
